Guadalest
The almost 1000 year old village of Guadalest is beautifully integrated into the rocks.
El Castell de Guadalest has been an important defense point of the Moors against the Spanish for many years.
Whoever visits Guadalest also gets a beautiful view of the constructed reservoir that has been supplying a large part of the province of Alicante with drinking water for many years.

Algar waterfalls
A nice combination with Guadalest are the Waterfalls of Algar. The waterfalls are an ideal trip for those who want to refresh themselves in a beautiful environment with lots of greenery, plants and flowing waterfalls.
Jalon
The Jalon Valley offers a spectacular landscape of vineyards, olive and pine trees and orange plantations. You can also taste local wines in one of the bodegas and for people who love unique pieces and antiques there is a flea market every Saturday.
Calpe
The Penyal d'Ifac rock is the symbol of Calpe at 332 meters. You can climb the steep chalk cliff via marked walks to the top so that you have a beautiful view of Calpe and the nearby coastal region.
The salt lake Las Salinas, located behind the beaches is very famous. The salt lake is inhabited by large wild flamingos.
In the center of Calpe there is a real village atmosphere with cozy streets and squares. There is also a market on Saturdays.
